Privacy policy
Privacy, in plain
language.
This policy explains what information may be processed when you visit Vasewise, why it is used and the choices available to you.
Effective and last updated: August 26, 2026
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the Vasewise website, its articles and the Flower Care Finder. It does not govern websites operated by other organizations, even when we link to them. Their own privacy policies apply when you leave Vasewise.
Information processed when you visit
Our hosting, security, analytics and advertising providers may automatically process limited technical information. This can include your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate region, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps and diagnostic or security events.
The Flower Care Finder does not require an account and does not ask for your name, address or flower photographs. The selections you make may be processed in your browser to display a result.
How information is used
Technical and usage information may be used to:
- deliver pages and remember necessary preferences;
- protect the site, investigate misuse and diagnose errors;
- understand aggregate readership and improve guides or navigation;
- measure advertising performance and, where permitted, select ads; and
- comply with applicable obligations and enforce our terms.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies, local storage, tags or similar technologies may be used for essential operation, preferences, measurement and advertising. Some are set by third-party providers. Where applicable law requires consent, non-essential technologies are not used until the appropriate choice has been made.
You can reject or withdraw consent through any consent control shown on the site, and you can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking essential storage may affect parts of the site.
Google advertising
Vasewise may use Google AdSense or related Google advertising services. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to deliver, limit, measure and report ads. Depending on your region and consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized; non-personalized ads may still use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.
You can manage how Google uses advertising information in Google’s Ads Settings. You can also learn how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services on Google’s Privacy & Terms pages.
Service providers and disclosure
Information may be handled by providers supporting hosting, security, analytics, consent management and advertising. They may process data in countries other than the one where you live and are expected to handle it for the service they provide.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users or the site, or address suspected fraud or security threats. We do not sell information that you directly submit to Vasewise.
Retention and security
Technical records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, diagnostics, reporting and legal obligations. Different providers may apply different retention periods.
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information, but no website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection concerning personal information, or to withdraw consent. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions and verification requirements.
To make a privacy request, email [email protected] without including unnecessary sensitive information. You may also use browser controls, the site’s consent controls when shown and Google’s advertising settings.
Children and policy changes
Vasewise is a general-audience flower-care site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information.
We may update this policy when site features, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows the most recent revision; material changes will be reflected on this page.
